Rewards and Prize Draws

Eligible entrants

By registering for the 2026 Dusk to Dawn Walk (the Event), participants (you or your):

  • are eligible for the rewards and prize draw outlined below in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and

  • are taken to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Ineligible persons

UNICEF Australia Directors and employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter any prize draw. "Immediate family" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.


Milestone Rewards

Participants who fundraise via their Dusk to Dawn online fundraising page (Fundraising Page) by 11.59pm AEDT on Sunday, 22 November 2026 will be eligible to receive the following rewards:

Raise $500

Receive an exclusive Dusk to Dawn t-shirt.

Raise $750

Receive a Dusk to Dawn bum bag.

Raise $1,000

Become a Night Hero and receive:

  • Exclusive Night Hero t-shirt

  • Night Hero walking bib

  • Night Hero pin

  • Recovery pack upon completion of the Event

  • Access to the Night Hero Lounge at the Event

  • Virtual supporter experience via Zoom

Self-donate within 7 days of registration

Participants who make a self-donation of more than $25 through their Fundraising Page within seven (7) days of registering for the Event will receive a pair of glow-in-the-dark shoelaces.

Reward fulfilment

Milestone reward items will be posted monthly from August 2026 to November 2026 to the postal address recorded in your registration details or supplied to UNICEF Australia.

Participants will also have the option to collect eligible reward items at the official Dusk to Dawn pack pick-up prior to the Event. Dates, locations and collection details will be advised closer to the Event.

UNICEF Australia is not responsible for rewards that cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete contact details.


Competition Prize Draw

Collect Seven Badges to Win a Garmin vívoactive® 6

Prize

There are two (2) Garmin vívoactive® 6 smartwatches to be won, each valued at AUD $549.

How to enter

Participants who collect seven (7) or more badges through their Fundraising Page by 11.59pm AEDT on Thursday, 5 November 2026 will automatically receive one entry into the prize draw.

A maximum of one entry per participant applies.

Badge collection

Badges may be earned by completing eligible fundraising and engagement activities available through the Fundraising Page. Details of badge-earning activities will be available via participant dashboards throughout the campaign.

Winner draw and notification

The prize draw will take place on Friday, 6 November 2026.

The two winners will be notified by phone and email using the contact details associated with their registration.

The Garmin watches will be posted directly to the winners following verification of their details.


General Terms

Identification

Prize winners may be required to provide proof of identity to UNICEF Australia's satisfaction before a prize is awarded.

Unclaimed prizes

If a prize winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the initial notification, or declines the prize, UNICEF Australia reserves the right to conduct a redraw from the remaining eligible entries.

Prize conditions

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

UNICEF Australia accepts no responsibility for any prize that is lost, stolen, damaged or delayed after it has been dispatched.

Entry in your name only

Rewards and prizes will only be awarded to the participant named in the relevant registration. Entries made on behalf of another person are invalid.

Validity of entries

UNICEF Australia reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and participants and to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions, provides misleading information, tampers with the entry process or engages in conduct that may jeopardise the fair administration of the rewards or prize draw.

Promotion

Prize winners may be photographed, filmed or interviewed. By accepting a prize, winners consent to UNICEF Australia using their name, image, voice and statements in promotional material relating to the Event, unless they notify UNICEF Australia otherwise in writing.

Privacy

Participants agree to UNICEF Australia collecting, holding and using their personal information for the purposes of administering the rewards and prize draw.

Participants also consent to UNICEF Australia disclosing personal information to third parties involved in administering rewards and prizes, including mailing houses, merchandise suppliers and prize suppliers.

Please refer to UNICEF Australia's Privacy Policy for information about:

  • how personal information is collected, used and stored;

  • how personal information may be accessed or corrected; and

  • how privacy complaints may be made and handled.

Taxation

Any taxation implications arising from receipt of a reward or prize are the sole responsibility of the participant. Independent financial advice should be sought where appropriate.

Cancellation or variation

If for any reason the rewards program or prize draw cannot proceed as planned, including due to technical failure, circumstances beyond UNICEF Australia's reasonable control, or any other event affecting the administration of the promotion, UNICEF Australia reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the promotion.

Disputes

Any dispute concerning rewards or prize draws will be determined by UNICEF Australia acting reasonably and in good faith. UNICEF Australia's decision is final.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any rights participants may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable consumer protection laws.

Limitation of liability

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, UNICEF Australia excludes all liability for any loss, damage or injury arising directly or indirectly from participation in the rewards program, prize draw or Event.

Time

All dates and times referred to in these Terms and Conditions are Sydney, Australia time.

Currency

All dollar amounts referred to in these Terms and Conditions are Australian dollars (AUD).
